Andrew Caddy

General Manager

Andrew Caddy started working in the fencing industry in 2000, beginning as an Estimator for Lee Bros Fencing (seven years) then and as a Senior Estimator/Project Manager at Otter Fencing Group (eight years). Since late 2015, Andrew has been General Manager of Melbourne Chain Wire Fencing and has overseen the construction of $21M of works since the company became part of ProWire Fencing Group in 2015.

Jacqui Butcher

Financial Controller

Jacqui Butcher, came to Melbourne Chain Wire Fencing in 2015 with more than 17 years’ experience in operational management. Jacqui has a background in finance, human resources, and people and project management in the public sector and higher education sectors. Her biggest strengths are aligning service and processes to achieve business aims and HR and financial compliance.

Estimator project managers

Drew Smith

Drew Smith has been working in the fencing industry since 2013; with Melbourne Chain Wire Fencing since 2016 and three years prior with Otter Fencing. Before that, he worked in landscaping civil works. As our Senior Estimator / Project Manager Drew has overseen the construction of over $7M of works since he joined the company. He has extensive experience in managing fencing works construction for civil projects and education properties.

Matt Parsons
Matt Parsons joined Melbourne Chain Wire Fencing in 2018, bringing an extensive background in fencing. Most recently, Matt was a key client manager for two years with ARC Fencing as part of their sales team. Matt previously ran his own Jim’s Fencing franchise for over ten years, giving him experience in quoting and constructing a wide variety of fencing projects.
Wayde Kendall

Wayde Kendall made a significant career change when he joined Melbourne Chain Wire Fencing in 2020 after 17 years working as a primary school teacher. While Wayde is quickly learning the finer details of fencing, he brings with him a detail focus and a passion for learning his new profession.

Ali Buvan

Ali Buvan joined Melbourne Chain Wire Fencing as Project Coordinator in 2024 after many years working in the residential housing sector. 

Ryan Lawrence

Ryan Lawrence was promoted to Estimator / Project Manager in 2023 after participating in our Project Manager pathway program. Ryan joiined Melbourne Chain Wire Fencing in 2020

Jeremy Hansen

Jeremy Hansen is our newly promoted Junior Project Manager. Jeremy has been with Melbourne Chain Wire Fencing since 2020

Warehouse

Our Operations Manager, Johnny Stagnitta, has worked in the fencing industry since 2016. He leads our warehouse and logistics team ensuring timely fabrication and collection of materials required for each project, along with Stephen Tuckwood who recently joined the company as Assistant Logistics Manager. Mat Hansen has over ten years’ experience in logistics in the fencing industry and who ensures all materials are delivered to sites on time. Also on the road are Kane Richards and Nic Bilmbas who also provide support in the workshop alongside Troy Barnett is our main fabricator and Blake Hansen.

Melissa Stankic

OFFICE

Our office staff support operations and communicate with customers to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and on time. Jacqui Butcher is supported by Claire Pisasale and who joined us in 2022 and Melissa Stankic who joined us in 2023 and have wide experience in administration and customer service, both teaming together to provide a seamless customer experience and office administration.
